Someone's Shoe

Hey guys, how was the past week? For me, it has been both challenging and enlightening. Some eye opening events made it one of the most illuminating weeks I have had this year.

 

Now while this has happened to me, someone else in the world had a much more different week. It might have been good, bad, ugly or even similar to the kind week i had. Who knows? The world is a big place.

 

Experience, time and the reality of life has marked us in different places, so all of us grew and adapted differently. We uphold culture, beliefs and ideologies that govern our thinking and which may be different from the way every other persons thinking is built.

To bridge the gap, you have to compromise. The truth is, people might not understand even if we take our time to explain so just once, give them a chance to believe what they want.

Why this?

Some people actually believe in their superiority over people and this includes, way of life, speech, eating habits and life style.

Ever wondered why we have wars today? It is because people want to rule over other people and take away their ability to choose for themselves what they think is right. It is because they believe they have the only right source and every other way is wrong. 

 So when communicating with people, communicate like you are aware of the different realities that has birthed different ideologies, belief, culture, etc. but you are willing to find a common ground and enhance interaction.

No one had it all growing up

Nobody had a perfect childhood or teenage growing up, we all had to face one major crisis or the other that turned the tides in our lives. But it is not over, we can always make the present worth remembering for good.

So when relating and interacting with people today, take in to consideration their belief too no matter how silly, uneducated, foolish it is sounding because it is entirely their opinion which is greatly influenced by their environment and upbringing.

Your interaction might actually affect how their day or week or year might turn out. So, do it with love and care for them.
